Teaching & Tuition
I have extensive experience of teaching photography and natural history, both formally as a University lecturer and on a one-to-one basis in the form of tutorials, assisting photographers with their work, ideas, and approach. Currently I offer one-to-one online tutorials, and if interested please contact me to discuss pricing and a time slot which suits your needs.
In the future I intend to offer field workshops lasting several days on location in the Scottish highlands and abroad. In the meantime if you have a group of four or more and are interested in arranging such an approach please contact me.
Public Speaking
I have extensive experience of giving public talks, particularly on photography, natural history and adventure travel. These have included school visits - both primary and secondary, given talks at universities and museums, including the Natural History Museum in London among others. I'd of course also be delighted to speak at camera clubs, walking/outdoor clubs and more on these topics.
